Client Services Partner

Department: Advertiser Solutions

The Client Solutions Partner (CSP) is responsible for managing all post-sale client activity across PubMatic’s Advertiser Solutions portfolio. This includes ensuring seamless deal activation, successful campaign delivery, ongoing optimisation, and revenue growth across PMPs and Activate spend.

 

The CSP acts as a trusted partner to agencies and brands, combining hands-on DSP trading expertise with strategic, data-driven recommendations to maximise performance, client satisfaction, and incremental revenue opportunities. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and trading execution, supporting clients across the PubMatic platform while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver commercial success.

 

Key Responsibilities

Client & Campaign Management

  • Manage all post-sale activity from deal approval to activation, optimisation, and renewal
  • Execute deal setup, campaign launches, pacing checks, troubleshooting, and optimisation workflows
  • Provide proactive, strategic recommendations to exceed client KPIs and unlock incremental revenue
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting, QBR materials, inventory analysis, and performance insights
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with day-to-day agency contacts and traders
  • Participate in pre-sales calls, agency meetings, and industry events as needed
  • Act as a trusted partner, ensuring timely communication and high-quality service delivery
 

DSP Trading & Performance Expertise

  • Hands-on trading and optimisation across DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, or similar platforms
  • Guide buyers on DSP setup, best practices, bidding strategies, and audience optimisation
  • Support internal DSP testing, activations, and campaign tracking
  • Analyse campaign performance data to identify spend blockers and improve delivery outcomes
 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Strategy, Addressability, Activate Trading, and Deal Desk teams
  • Support SPO initiatives, proposal development, and performance tracking
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with Product and Tech teams to resolve challenges
  • Contribute to regional knowledge sharing and internal alignment
 

Internal Operations & Process Excellence

  • Maintain accurate client seat mapping, buyer account updates, and internal documentation
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to best-practice documentation
  • Ensure operational accuracy and efficiency across all managed accounts
 

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Programmatic Trading, Client Services, Account Management, or similar roles within AdTech
  • Strong hands-on experience with major DSP platforms (DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of programmatic buying/selling mechanics, pricing models, optimisation strategies, and audience approaches
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear performance recommendations
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence analysing and presenting campaign data
  • Experience with Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
 

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Additional European language skills are a plus
